Good friends vs. Bad influences

Good friends to me, aren't people who just tell you what you want to hear. They tell you like it is and shock you back to reality if you're hurting yourself. They will stick with you in the hardest times just like they know you would for them.Bad influences are people who don't care what happens to you. If you get in trouble and you depend on them, all you can count on is disappointment. They care only about themselves, not you. Choose wisely.

The importance of being yourself

A lot of people want to be accepted so much that they just deny themselves of their identity. They act like another person, not themselves. But if you don't understand the importance of being you, you'll turn in to that other person and won't be able to think on your own anymore. The person you're acting like most likely doesn't find what you're doing "cool", they find it annoying and want nothing to do with you. Be yourself and they will see the real you. Whether they like you or not that's their problem, at least you're you. And if they can't respect that, why do you want to be their friend anyway?

Saying no to drugs

People say that they will never do drugs. That's right alot of people say that. You might know someone who is an angel, and yet they might be struggling with an addiction. It might all start as a stupid stunt to look cool and rebellious, but then you're addicted. Drug addicts think that they need the drug and that it helps them. It doesn't, it destroys them. Drugs will get you in trouble everywhere. With the law, with your health, and with yourself. It will take away all the things important to you. Don't put that much on the line. Just say no.

Education

Education is important because without it you most likely won't go anywhere in life. No easy working job will accept you without an education. My brother was a whiz in school. He got good grades and graduated early. He was planning to go to college, but then he met a girl and wanted to get married. So he never went to college, he dropped out. Let's just say that the marriage went bad and they ended up divorced. Because he was working so hard he never went back to school and now in order to get good money he has to work at the refineries up in Port Aurther. Going to school won't make you a millionare most of the time. But it will give you a job where you don't have to work like a mule in the sun.
